Chiang
Rai is located in Northern Thailand bordering Burma and Laos. It is approximately
200 from Chiang Mai and 900 km from Bangkok. Chiang Rai City itself is flat
but it is surrounded by verdant mountains which are home to numerous tribal
groups with their unique cultures..
Chiang
Rai Province is home to numerous attractions including Doi Tung, Doi Mae Salong,
the historic ruins in Chiang Saen, Golden Triangle and the wild west town of
Mae Sai. There are numerous hotsprings, waterfalls and other natural attractions.
Doy
Din Dang is only 12 km from Chiang Rai and 6 km from the airport. When going
north on the superhighway, look for a small Cosmos Gas Stand on your left. Turn
right there and follow the signs.
